A couple of challenges have gone for the Christmas in July theme - I'm not averse to making Christmas cards any time of the year and it just so happens I just received a retired set from an ex SU Demo today called Merry Mistletoe and was eager to have a play.
I took my inspiration from the As You See It challenge #204 which had quite a detailed brief: Use all the elements shown below!
I started off with some Very Vanilla card stock from SU and stamped the main greetings in Real Red. The mistletoe was stamped in Pear Pizazz and I added some pearls for the mistletoe berries. I added some red and white ribbon/twine at the top of the mistletoe.
I then stamped the reindeer and reversed the image so it looks as though they are kissing under the mistletoe. I used a stitched die cut for the extra sentiment and added some stars.
I'm also adding this into Retro Rubber #114 who are also asking for Christmas Cards.
Just Add Ink are asking for a seasonal card.

Fiona, the pearls are a sweet addition and I like the way you created a pair of smooching deer! Thanks for joining in with us at As You See It and Retro Rubber Challenge.
This is a beautiful Christmas design, Fiona. I love the reversed image of the deer so it looks like they're kissing under that glorious mistletoe! So glad you joined us for our recipe challenge at As You See It Challenges!
Very cute, Fiona! I always wonder why manufacturers don't make reverse images of their stamps, just like this! Love the little elements you added too! Thanks for playing with our CHristmas challenge this week!
This is a lovely way to use these stamps. I love your little pearl accents. Chantell Just Add Ink
