ANOTHER LAYOUT!!!
Wow I'm on a roll - two layouts in one day!!!! Here I scrapped some pictures of us way back in 2001 when we went to Florida for a holiday. Little did we know then that two years later we would be living in Texas! Just shows you never know what's around the corner. I used to enjoy those Back to the Future films - can you believe they are over 20 years old????

A LAYOUT!!!!!!
It's been months since I've scrapbooked - but my US Creating Keepsakes magazine landed on the mat this morning and it galvanised me into doing a page. I must admit I have a hard problem scrapping pictures of my kids when they were small - I get so emotional and nostalgic that I find it difficult. Does anyone else have this problem? How do I get over it? Anyway, I managed to do one of my DD without shedding any tears! LOL!
I used some of the SU scrapping papers - I love working with these. The rubber stamp of the horse is also SU.

WHAT TO DO WITH INCHIES?
Over on my inchy challenge blog I've been asked the question - What do we do with Inchies?
What indeed - The quickest way I've found to use them is to add them to your cards or tags like toppers.

Or you could put them in groups and put them in photo frames or shadow boxes.
I've even seen them made into fabulous pieces of jewellery although I haven't tried this yet. What do you do with your inchies???

I CAN REVEAL ALL........
Woohoo - I can now tell you all about my secret!
This Thursday, it's all about....
I was delighted to be approached by Tracey of Rattytattysblog to be part of her design team on her exciting new challenge blog. Susie from http://www.whiteribboncards.blogspot.com/ is my team mate. Tracey is a very busy crafter and is always trying out new techniques and crafts and has great vision for her new challenge blog. It will be open to any form of art or craft be it paper, beads, materials, ceramics ......the list is endless.
Tracey has wasted no time in getting sponsors lined up to be involved with this exciting new blog and we have our first Guest Designers ready and waiting. Julie, from ArtyGirlz and Inspirational blog - will be our first Designer.
The blog is still in development but Tracey has also organised a chat room where you can come and suggest things you'd like to see or just to chat with other like minded bloggers! We will be announcing the launch of the chatroom on our blogs in the near future.
If you would like to be a sponsor of this exciting new challenge blog or if you would like to take part as a Guest Designer, whatever your craft, please e mail the team on thisthursday@artlover.com with craft areas you are experienced in and a link to your blog.

I love the criss cross card technique - and this was one I started ages ago but couldn't think how to finish off. I used some pieces from SU scrapping sets and Laura Ashley embellishment tin. The little heart locket is from Molly Daydream. I've used paper to edge the bottom of the card and completed the look by using it again on the insert. The stamped sentiment is SU.
Wednesday Stamper's Challenge - ART
Wednesday Stamper's challenge this week is to use the word ART on your project's somewhere - and don't forget to include some stamps!!! I've used a Hero Arts art stamp here and Cherry Pie Art Stamps.
CANVAS
I wanted to do a canvas of our trip to Rome and got some inspiration today. I decided to put the photo in black and white as there is enough colour in the embellishments and it shows off the picture better. I've used Stampin Up's Simply Scrappin set here for the papers and some of the embellishments - this set is called Secret Garden. The letter stickers are by Cloud 9 Design and continue the Italian theme as they are called Milan! The flowers is from my new Laura Ashley tin. I'll leave it on the table it the lounge this evening and see how long it takes for the family to spot it!
I've done this skinny this week for the skinny challenge which is summer - the challenge over at My time to Craft is Dark Hair so this should count for both challenges.
THEME THURSDAY - GIRLS
The theme over at Theme Thursday this week is Girls - this is an inchie I did for Joanne's inchy swaps.

Tag - you're it Challenge
The challenge over at weekend taggers is Black and Gold on your tags. I've used some embellishments from a fab new tin of Laura Ashley embellishments I got for my birthday. The background stamp which has been embossed is a Stampin Up stamp from the new catalogue, Carte Postale. The little brass plate actually says Happy Birthday and I got this from Molly Daydream's store!

SILHOUETTES
We run Team Challenges on Aunty's forum with different teams choosing the challenge each month. This month the challenge is Silhouettes - this is something we have just done with our inchy challenge on Aunty's too and hopefully I can show some of those once they've all been sent on to everyone. Here are some of the silhouettes I've done for the challenge
This is a Cherry Pie Art Stamp - isn't it fabulous? Marina does some fabulous stamps if you haven't heard of them before - I would recommend checking them out.
This image was taken from a little book of ATC's I was given last year - I knew it would come in handy! LOL
This is a Stampin Up stamp set.

DOVECRAFT COMPETITION
Rattytatty's Dovecraft competition is still running - you just have to use Dovecraft supplies in your project. I did a different style of card for me using some fab Dovecraft embellishments - but I couldn't not use a rubber stamp on there somewhere! LOL! I've used dovecraft flowers, brads and the punch out behing the wording is a Dovecraft punch out.
THEME THURSDAY - TOYS
Theme Thursday's challenge this week is toys - I didn't have any rubber stamps with toys on (can you believe that???LOL) but found this lovely image in my stash.
