SPARKLES CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE - USE RIBBON, LACE OR TWINE

Well we are on month 5 already this year at Sparkles Christmas Challenge.  This year seems as though it has gone on for ever - we are on lockdown for the fifth week here in the UK and it's getting really tough.  This month is my birthday month and I was hoping I could see my children and grandchild soon but looks like we are still not able to visit family! She's only 10 months and we have been missing seeing her.  I am very grateful though that we are all safe and my heart goes out to all those who are dealing with this condition day in and day out.  Their bravery and strength is amazing.

Our challenge this month is to use ribbon lace or twine on your cards.

I've used the lovely set from Clearly Besotted called Be Merry which also has the matching dies. (my own challenge blog The Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe which also goes live tomorrow is sponsored by Clearly Besotted with a £20 voucher!)

I started off with a Night of Navy card stock from SU and an embossing folder from Craft Concepts. I used two inks to stamp the wreath - SU Mellow Moss ( a retired ink) and Tranquil Tide.  The bow was also inked with two inks, SU Cherry Cobbler and Ranger Archival Ink in Vermillion.  I added some silver twine to hand the wreath from.  The sentiment is from Sunny Studio Holiday Style stamp set.  I added some red gems to the wreath and silver ones to the card stock.
