The inspiration for my card today came from a number of challenges. I chose to do a landscape image with Stampin Up's Waterfront set. If I'd had more colour options I would have chosen a different blue for the reflection of the mountains but I just stamped off the Night of Navy to make a lighter colour. The trees were coloured with a wash of Spectrum Noir Sparkle to give them a little shine.
I stamped all the images first on to white card stock and then cut out the middle with a stitched framelit and layered it and added it back into the image.
I''m entering this into the following challenges:
Global Design Project - I used their colours
The Paper Players for their sketch
Inspired By for their colours
Time Out Challenge - I used the frames as inspiration
Try it on Tuesday - the colour green

Fiona, this is a lovely scene....I like how you "framed" it! Perfect sentiment too! Thanks for sharing this with us at the Players this week and using my sketch!

Such a pretty scene. So serene. And I love the layout you used with the extra frame in the center.
What a cool card! I love the scene and how you focused in on it with the square frame. Very pretty! Thanks for joining our Time Out challenge!
