613 Avenue Create -

We have a lovely Mood board for you at 613 Avenue Create this month.  I can't wait to see how these gorgeous colours will inspire you.

I love stamps that have wellington boots with flowers in and I have this lovely cute set from Simon Says Stamp called Choose Joy.  One of the great stamps in this set is a plaid stamp that allows you to make your own gingham. I used Tim Holtz Spun Sugar for the background and added some of the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive.

The Boots were coloured in with an SU Blender Pen in basic grey and the flowers coloured in with the same Tim Holtz colours and cut out with a stitched die.  I used another die to cut out the rose paper from my stash and added some nuovo drops for an extra bit of colour.

SWEET STAMPIN - SPRING MOODBOARD

We have a lovely Spring Moodboard for you this time at Sweet Stampin.

I have this lovely stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called Choose Joy and I knew I just wanted to use those lovely wellington boots filled with flowers.  The stamp set has a stamp which creates the plaid grid - such a great idea and a lot of fun to use.  I used Stampin Up cardstock in Soft Sky and used the same ink to add the delicate plaid background. 

I used Spellbinders Cutting Dies for my image.  I coloured the boots and flowers with Distress Inks.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I added a few Nuovo Drops to finish off the card.

HAND STAMPED SENTIMENTS - #HSSSC347

A great sketch for you this week from Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I recently got this lovely little stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called Choose Joy.  It has the lovely little Wellington Boots with the flowers in - some lovely added flowers, great sentiments and one of my favourite stamps so far - one that makes gingham which I've used for one of the papers!  How inspired is that stamp!  I can see it's going to get a lot of use! 

I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks for my water colouring - as you can see I've let the inks go outside the lines to give a softer effect - it also means you don't have to beat yourself up if you don't stay inside the lines and I think it looks nicer.
