Welcome back to another Creative Artiste Mixed Media challenge where our challenge are always Anything Goes. I'm in full-on Christmas mode at the moment - it is my favourite time to craft and my favourite type of crafts. I love all things Tim Holtz for Christmas so decided to go full on with this canvas and use some of his little squares which I think came out last year. I covered the canvas with gesso first and then used Ultra Matte Medium from Liquitex to stick all the pieces down.
I added some little wooden ornaments from my stash, having first inked them with Distress and added a touc of sparkle. The Believe is a die cut I also had in my stash. I added some Tim Holtz Ideaology bells and quotes. The deer is from Tim Holtz die set.
I loved the way this turned out and will definitely be making a few more.

I love this so much, Fiona! The vintage appearance of the squares goes amazingly well with all of the little ornaments. I was actually reminded of an advent calendar when I first saw your project--the squares would be a perfect background for it!

A wonderful vintage looking canvas Fiona. The squares are perfect for a collage theme and so full of interesting detail. You've added some gorgeous extra treats to catch the eye too. A lovely Christmas keepsake xx

Oh Fiona this is full of Mixed Media magnificence.So much eye candy especially the wee bit of tartan that caught my eye. So love this.
