OH CHRISTMAS TREE

I have yet to find a nice stamp with the wording Oh Christmas Tree on it - I'm sure there are lots out there - it would have been handy for this card for the As You See It Challenge this week - which is a panel card and a sketch.

I've used an old SU stamp set here Season of Joy for the trees and Merry Little Labels for the Just for You.  The colours are the lovely Lemon Lime Twist ink, paper and ribbon.  The sentiment is stamped in Fresh Fig and Old Olive and is from Inkadinkadoo.

A touch of bling on the stars from some Rhinestones finishes off this card.

I'm loving joining in with all these challenges - I'm getting a really nice assortment of Christmas cards ready for the season.

Such a cheery Christmas card, Fiona! I agree with you about there being no nice "O Christmas Tree" stamps. I like your creativity in turning the sketch on its side and your colour choices! Thanks for joining us this week at As You See It Challenge!

Hi Fiona! What a sweet card and a great use of the sketch with those trees! I am forever looking for the perfect sentiments myself so I feel your pain! However, you have come up with a great plan B with the sentiments you used! Lovely! Thanks for joining us at As You See It!

These are sweet Christmas trees and the star finishes them off nicely. The lighter green adds a touch of freshness to the traditional colours which is nice. Thanks for joining us at As You See It this week.

I love seeing old SU sets used with new, fresh colors! And your sentiment is as fun as can be! Thanks so much for sharing this at As You See It! And if I see a good "O Christmas Tree" sentiment anywhere, I'll let you know!
