WACKY WATERCOLOUR BLOG HOP - MARCH 2017

Thank you for hopping by to my blog courtesy of Marie Green's wonderful blog.  What wonderful projects she has made for us.

I'm delighted to be part of the blog hop for Watercooler Wednesday and in our hop we are celebrating everything Sale-A-Bration - it only lasts until the end of March so if you have fallen in love with Hey Chick, Delicate Details, Avant-Garden to name just a few time is running out for you to get these items for FREE!

Here are some of my ideas for you for using some of our Sale-A-Bration offers.

WATERFALL CARD - HEY CHICK

I'm sure lots of you have made waterfall cards - they are much simpler than they look but they definitely have the Wow factor.  Here's one I did with Hey Chick for a class and they loved it.

I used Mint Macaron - sadly this colour will be leaving us at the end of May and it has been one of my favourites.  I used Watercolour Pencils to colour in the chicks and a touch of Dazzling Diamonds on the Cockrels feathers.

This is a really quick YouTube video I did just to show my customers what we were going to be doing that evening.

 AVANT-GARDEN - PANEL CARD

Another one of my favourite sets from Sale-A-Bration was the lovely Avant-Garden and I will be sorry to see this go.  Here I've done a Panel Card.  The base is Whisper White and the Designer Series Paper is the Succulent Garden - I love these papers.  They are so so pretty.

 DELICATE DETAILS - SQUARE CARD

My final card for Sale-A-Bration uses Delicate Details - yet again another lovely set of stamps that I will be sorry to see leave us.  I made a square card this time and used some of the papers from Falling In Love Designer Series Paper.

The Delicate Details were stamped by with Early Espresso.  I've also used one of the lovely dancing images from Beautiful You and the sentiment Celebrate .... because it looks as though she may be celebrating something.  A touch of Very Vanilla lace trim at the bottom of the card finishes it off.  The girls dress was coloured in with Watercolour Pencils and a touch of Wink of Stella.

I hope you've enjoyed my projects - I will be doing tutorials on all of them on my youtube channel so do pop back and have a look.

Now onwards on the hop to Sherri Lee and see what she has in store.

Hi Fiona, what great projects! I love those chicks and I, too, will be sorry to lose the Mint Macaron (as well as the Tip Top Taupe). Mind you, there is a colour change due this year, I believe. The waterfall style of card certainly shows off all the images very well. The Avant Garden panel card really shows off that stamp well. But it's your third project which I really love. That image from Beautiful You works so very well with the Falling in Love paper and Delicate Details lace images. The card is stunning.

Beautiful cards showcasing the SAB sets! The Avant Garden panel card is my fave...followed closely with the waterfall card. Great stamping and love the delicate lace on the Beautiful You card. :)

Fiona what an awesome selection of Sab-Products. It would be hard to pick a favourite as they are all so delightful. I haven't made a waterfall card in years and I found yours very inspiring. Love the colouring on your chicks. Your colour choice for the Avant Garde card really makes the flowers pop....great choice. The touch of lace on the bottom of the Beautiful You card is so beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing!

Lovely cards, Fiona. Beautiful You is a terrific stamp set, and you did it proud! Your Avant Garden panel card is beautiful with the coordinating DSP. And I'm going to have to try another waterfall card--it's been a long time, but they are always a crowd pleaser! Thanks for the video; great reminder.

Wow Fiona! Both a waterfall card and a panel card - outstanding! The Beautiful You image stamped on that Falling in Love DSP is just perfection. Love the Delicate Details and the actual lace.

It's been a long time since I have made a waterfall card, you have inspired me to give it a try again! I absolutely love those chicks and they were perfect for your card. I just ordered the Advant-Garden, you're right it is a pretty set. Your Beautiful You card is stunning. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards with us.
