INSPIRATION STATION #73

Welcome back to another challenge at Inspiration Station - we hope you are inspired by our image.  Don't forget when entering to let us know how our image inspired your creation.

I went with some scrapbooking pages for a change. I continue to do scrapbooking, especially for my grandkids, but rarely share them on here.  I just thought these pages were perfect and show my son when he was 8 following in his dad's footsteps on the beach - this one was in Mexico.  The second one was many years later when we were in Greece and he was still following in his dad's footsteps. Interesting to see how my style changed from the early one created in 2004 to the later one which I did for this challenge!

INSPIRATION STATION #71

It's time for another challenge for Inspiration Station this month featuring these cute bunnies and I look forward to seeing how they inspire your creativity this month.

I used a couple of products from Tracy Evans Boutique Designs and some of Tracy's older stamps for my card.  I first stamped the gorgeous snowdrop in Versafine Verdant and Shady lane - adding both colours to the stamp to get a variation of colour.  The background stamping are also Tracy's stamps.

I then used one of Tracy's new stencils the hare SS2 to create my hares using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink and Tim Holtz Crackle Paste.  I cut them out and added them to some burlap ribbon on the bottom.

INSPIRATION STATION - #70

Welcome back to Inspiration Station...a Challenge Blog for all types of Mediums. We hope to bring you lots of inspiration to get those Creative Juices flowing. Here's our image for you this month - we hope it inspires you.

I used my gel press and some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks to create my background. I added some of Tim's collage papers to the top left and bottom right.  The stamped images are from Creative Expressions designed by Sam Poole called Butterfly Walk.  I cut out the butterfly and added it on top for extra interest.  I also added a Tim Holtz flower die behind the butterfly.  The sentiment added to the bit of lace is from Tim Holtz Idealogy.

I'm adding this into the following challenges:
Allsorts - AG
Moving along with the times - things with wings

INSPIRATION STATION - MOODBOARD

How cosy does this image look from Inspiration Station this month? We are also joining Double Trouble so pop over there to see their brief.

I turned to my trusty stamp set from Sunny Studio called Mug Hugz to create the mugs in my card.  I first used the gel press to create my background and added some leaves from a stencil by Visible Image. The burlap behind the mugs is a new find and I love it as it's adhesive and makes adding texture with material so easy.  I used some die cuts leaves to add further interest.

I'm adding this into the following challenges:

Double Trouble - layers
A cut above - die cuts and warming - my leaves are die cut and my drinks are warming
Cardz4guyz - Autumn
Shopping our Stash - hot drinks

INSPIRATION STATION - APRIL

Welcome back to another challenge from Inspiration Station. I was inspired by the globe in our picture to create this mixed media tag using stamps by Bipasha BK from Aallandcreate.

I used a stencil from Tim Holtz and some texture paste to create some of the background.  Lots of grungy inks and stamping to go with the great images which I stamped on tissue paper.  This allowed the globe and phone image to be seen rather than cutting them out.

INSPIRATION STATION FEBRUARY #58

I'm delighted to be starting off the New Year with a new Design Team - Inspiration Station.  But oh I nearly stumbled at the first hurdle when I saw our photo for inspiration and realised I have absolutely no dog stamps whatsoever.  Even though I have two dogs lol!  So forgive me for just showing this gorgeous little cat on my card.

She is one of Anita Jeram's stamps called Watering Can Mini.  I decided to ink her a little off the one side of the page rather than in the middle to give more of an effect.  I added some little flowers under her watering can and used the sentiment from another Anita Jeram set.  The little xo's are from Clearly Besotted.
