INSPIRATION STATION

Welcome back to another challenge from Inspiration Station.  How will our image inspire you this month?  June is a very busy birthday month in our household so I could readily relate to this image.

I chose to use one of Anita Jeram's lovely stamps and just had to include the one with the lovely balloon. I water coloured the image with some Tim Holtz Distress water color pencils and then used a stitched die cut to cut it out.  I layered it onto some old Stampin Up DSP.

COLOR MY HEART DARE #512

I love these soft colours for our challenge this week at Color My Heart.  Just perfect for my little watercoloured scene of these cute Anita Jeram stamps.  The sets is called Paint Town.

Even as a DT Member I don't have any of the inks suggested in our prompt.  But as long as you use the inks you have and keep as close to the colours as you can you will be fine.

I used Tim Holtz Distress and Oxides for my inks.  I used Salty Ocean for the background blue, Dusty Concord for the purple, Mermaid Lagoon for the darker blue and Antique Linen for the animals.

Anita Jeram - Paint Town

I'm having another play with my new Anita Jeram set and was inspired by the colours in the As You See It Challenge. Although I don't have those SU colours I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, Kitsch Flamingo and Saltwater Taffy.

I love this little guinea pig and he seems to be the only one I've inked up so far so I need to play with some of the mice.  I've added him here with a great splat stamp from Creative Expressions set Circles of Time.  It was just what I wanted to showcase the colours.  I added a touch of sparkle with some coloured gems.

I'm also adding this into the following challenges:

TRY STAMPIN ON TUESDAY #TSOT528

A double challenge this week from Try Stampin on Tuesday.  I went just with the sketch.

I started by using a mask from Stampin Up for the background bricks using some of the Cinnamon Cider ink.  I used a cobble stones stencil from my stash for the road part of the image and divided it into two pieces.  I stamped the image from Stampin Up and coloured in with Distress Inks.  I added some twine from my stash.  The sentiment is from an Anita Jeram stamp set.
