SIMPLY SKETCHED SATURDAY CHALLENGE - AVANT-GARDEN, DELICATE DETAILS

Welcome to another Simply Sketched Saturday Challenge.  Here is our Sketch this week which was put forward by Samantha Charlton.

I loved working with this set and wanted to have another play with the Avant-Garden Sale-A-Bration set.  Such a versatile little set.  I've also used the Delicate Details stamp set which is also part of Sale-A-Bration.  That means you could get both stamp sets for FREE.

I used embossing powder for the Delicate Details and some of our clear embossing powder.  This enables you to have embossed colour for any of our inks.  Just stamp in Versamark first, then the ink of your choice then add the clear embossing colour.  I have used Mint Macaron here to go against the Mint Macaron card stock.  This has been one of my favourite colours and I will be sorry to see it leave us in May.

I've used the Stitched Framelits for the circles.  The inks used for the flowers are Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry.  White Embossing Powder was used for the sentiment.

I used the Botanical Builder Framelits for the flower using the same colours.

As usual all products can be purchased direct from my store - don't miss out on the fabulous Sale-A-Bration offers.

CREATING WITH CONNIE AND MARY

There's a Sketch Challenge going on at Create with Connie and Mary.  You'll find the challenge here

I love joining in with challenges cause it really makes you think outside the box and sometimes crafting on your own can be a lonely experience.  You need other's ideas to get you going and give you some mojo.  Well, I do anyway!

This is their sketch

I only did a tiny bit of stamping for this and mainly played with papers.  Some of the Wildflower Fields DSP and some Botanical Builder dies.  I'm so pleased the Botanicals are staying in the new catalogue but it's such a shame that the matching DSP is going.  I need to start using it then!

The sentiment has been made with the Banner Banter set - another set and punch which is on the Retirement List which is a shame cause I love it for using small sentiments.

All products can of course be found on my website here or follow the links above to get to my shop.
