MMM - CHOCOLATE ANYONE?

The girls over at Stamp With Us have given us a yummy reason to craft this week - use this chocolate cupcake as inspiration.
I love using SU's Chocolate Chip cardstock and its normally one of the first one I grab. Here I've done a gatefold card using Summer by the Sea stamp set. The image has been coloured in using SU's chalks - poppin pastels technique.

MONDAY'S CRAFTING:

Theme Thursday have asked us to come up with Glamour Girls and Saturday Surprise have asked us to use music and lyrics so I've added my two together with Marilyn and Candle In The Wind.

The challenge over at Mixed Media Monday is Mermaids - here's my entry.

I'M BACK

I'm back after my holiday in Texas - it was nice to go back and see where we used to live and catch up with friends but I was glad to come back home! I didn't spend half as much in the craft shops as I thought I would!

My first port of call this morning had to be my inchy challenge blog and this week's theme is Butterflies.

Here's mine - I added some lovely purple beads I received in my Easter Bunny swap with Debs on Aunty's Forum - she sent me some lovely purple craft goodies - so much better for a girl than chocolate!!!!!! LOL!!!!

I'm off for a browse around blogland and see what I can catch up with.

CAT INCHIES

An early challenge this week over at inchybyinch and another Guest Designer

Angela came up with the theme of Cats for us this week - as I'm going to be away from my computer for a while - this theme will run for two weeks.

Here are my little darlings! My real ones have gone to the cattery - gulp! They'll be all grumpy when we get them back - as will Tara.

THEME THURSDAY - PARIS

The theme over at Theme Thursday this week is Paris - only last night I ordered a great stamp from Stampfrancisco with an image of a woman in front of the Eiffel Tower - but as I won't be getting the stamp for a few weeks I can't use it! Doh!

Instead I've used a Cherry Pie Stamp I have with Mona on it - well, she is in the Louvre in Paris - that was the closest I could get. Hope you like her! The French says "You will find me in the Louvre"

FROM THE GARDEN/ART ON THE DARKSIDE

Simon Says Stamp blog is running a challenge of yellow and green cards - I'm going to enter this one - made with Stampin Up From The Garden stamp. Its the huge flower stamp - it may be big but it stamps really well.

Another new challenge site for me is Art on the Darkside - here they give you an image to work with and this week it was an atmospheric bench. I added a Cherry Pie stamp and a quote.

Wednesday Stamper

Wednesday Stamper have given us free rein this week - apart from the size - it has to be 2x4 - I've not tried this size before - not as challenging as an inchy though it has to be said!

DANS MA MAISON.....

....there is a Baby King this week. Mention King to me and I always think of Elvis - so I printed off a picture of the King as a baby. The background is sheet music I had of Love Me Tender which Elvis actually co-wrote.

Elvis has, most definitely, not LEFT THE BUILDING yet!!! LOL!
